Biography
Maija is passionate about the potential of digital transformation to create better and more equal opportunities for success.
Building on 20 years experience in international public affairs, government relations and interest representation, Maija has accumulated expertise in various sectors incl. financial services and technology, as well as practical competence in strategic advisory services and professional development.
Having settled now in Munich, Maija previously lived in London, Stockholm, Brussels, Berlin and Rome. Her professional portfolio over the years has covered the EU level as well as Germany, Benelux, Northern and Eastern Europe, Turkey and Switzerland.
Maija’s academic background is a combination of EU integration, philosophy and international relations, with degrees from University College London and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). More recently she added certificates in AI Digital Ethics from the University of Helsinki and again the LSE.
In addition to her corporate career, Maija is a fully trained and certified systemic coach and regularly acts as a mentor and seminar leader within various formats.
Maija is also member of the Advisory Board at Quadriga Public Affairs MBA, and co-founder of de’ge’polW, a Berlin-based network for female policy advisors.
