Nanni has more than 15 years’ experience in M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side), joint ventures, corporate financings and restructurings. She advises national and international companies on all aspects of corporate law, with a particular focus on private equity structures. Her clients include mid-sized companies, established national and international corporates and private equity funds. She regularly supports foreign businesses in establishing and expanding their operations in Germany and has a strong track record in technology and life sciences related investments and projects.
Nanni studied law in Munich and spent part of her legal traineeship in 2010 with an international law firm in Sydney, Australia. Having trained with the firm before, she then started her legal career at Osborne Clarke, whilst completing her PhD. Since then, she has advised on numerous complex international projects, worked from and with several of Osborne Clarke’s European offices and completed a secondment in New York, USA.
Since 2022, Nanni is leading the Munich office of Osborne Clarke and is also member of the German Partnership Council. From 2022 to 2025 she has served as the first ever female member of Osborne Clarke Germany’s national management board.
Besides her work in M&A, Nanni leads Osborne Clarke’s international Fashion Team, is co-founder of the Fashion and Luxury Law Academy and co-author of the Handbuch Moderecht (fashion law manual). She is particularly committed to questions of sustainability in the retail and consumer sector, recognising that the responsible use of limited resources and fair production conditions are increasingly critical in a globalised economy. Together with a multidisciplinary team of colleagues, she works on legal and compliance issues to help clients create transparent supply chains and fair, safe working conditions. She also focuses on digital concepts and tools that enable clients to address these topics in a targeted, practical and efficient way.
