Fiona O’Brien is Chief Channel Officer for Lenovo in EMEA, as well as Head of EMEA Operations. She carries a diverse mission – on the one side, Fiona is responsible for defining and implementing Lenovo’s go-to-market model with its extensive business partner community. She fosters the relationship between Lenovo and its key partners in distribution, retail and the reseller landscape. Fiona also runs the sales operations mission – the goal of this team is to better enable the Lenovo sales community through the provision of business intelligence, sales support and best in class tools. She is a member of the Lenovo EMEA Leadership Team.
Fiona’s experience is not limited to a specific function as she has held a variety of positions in her years in both Lenovo and IBM. She has a proven track record in improving sales and bottom-line performance and set up the highly successful Global Accounts mission in EMEA in 2008. Her passion for business and digital transformation has translated into Fiona leading a number of largescale changes initiatives on key Lenovo tools and processes. For these efforts, she was awarded “Image Business Woman of the Year 2016 (Digital, Technology & Science Category)”.
Fiona is a member of the “Women in Lenovo Leadership” forum and is a champion for diversity and inclusion within the organisation. She is a volunteer mentor for “Inspiring the Future” – an initiative set up to provide young people in disadvantaged areas with education and career mentors.
Fiona is based in Dublin, Ireland and maintains an active interest in the business environment in Ireland as a Council member of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. She holds a BSc Management & Adv Diploma Marketing Techniques from Trinity College, Dublin, and an MA Marketing. Fiona is married and has one son.
