Biography
Born in Florence and professionally grown in Milan, Silvia has a very comprehensive experience in the logistics and aviation fields, where she managed to achieve ambitious targets such as new all–cargo and passenger flights for prestigious Cathay Pacific Airways.
Silvia is presently chartered to plan and implement strategies and partnerships both in Italy and at international level to develop Fidenza Village, one of the Villages of the Bicester Village Shopping Collection, as exclusive shopping destination for luxury market segments.
Silvia also contributes her broad international experience in her professional rapport with local governments as well as Chambers of Commerce. Silvia holds crucial roles in several cultural, commercial and educational international organizations, including:
• President of the Italian Chapter of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of Italy
• Board member of the Italy – Hong Kong Association
• Board Member of the Italy – China Link Foundation
• Member of the Scientific Committee – Luciana Matalon Foundation
In 2012 Silvia was awarded the “Knight of the Merit of the Italian Republic” recognition for her significant contribution to air cargo sector and her performance as chief of the Italian head office of the Hong Kong based airline. In 2010 she was named “Successful Woman of the Year” by the European Academy of Economic and Cultural Relationship (AEREC).
During her work career Silvia has been interviewed numerous times by transportations and financial magazines and has actively participated in multiple workshops and business seminars.
