Biography
Having studied law in Goettingen, Birmingham (UK) and Berlin, Elisabeth joined the international law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in Cologne, Germany. Her work at CGSH focussed primarily on international, cross-border litigation. Additionally, she took on the role of leading the firm’s German IP and data protection practice. In 2016/2017, she served a secondment at the legal department of Robert Bosch GmbH where she gained insights into the in-house legal work at an industry leader.
Elisabeth left CGSH in October 2020 to join Osborne Clarke (also in Cologne) as Counsel. Together with Osborne’s IP team, she works on ensuring fair competition for the independent aftermarket in the automotive sector, pursuing various lawsuits against international car manufacturers to obtain access to data vitally important to independent operators.
Elisabeth lives with her partner and two cats in Cologne. She enjoys rock music and jigsaw puzzles, and plays the piano.
