Biography
While graduating with a Master degree in International Security and Defense, Mathilde first started working in 2016 for the French Land Defense and Security Industry Association (GICAT), in charge of development, services and providing specific support to over 200 SMEs. In 2017, she co-created and developed GENERATE, France’s first start-up accelerator dedicated to the Defense and Security sector. In 2019, she switched from private to public sector and joined the newly created French Defense Innovation Agency, as an advisor to the Director for public affairs and partnerships.
Since July 2021, she is vice president to the leading association in Europe for young people interested in Defense issues: Les Jeunes IHEDN. She has also been teaching Defense Economy for the past three years to Master’s students at Université Lyon III – Jean Moulin. Matching her passion for both Defense and Innovation she was an Army reserve Officer in the French Land forces’ Innovation Lab for two years.
On her free time Mathilde is a passionate sewist.
