Biography
Raouia, a Senior Data Scientist at Rexel, is driven by a strong passion for leveraging Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to tackle complex challenges.
She holds an engineering degree specialized in Data Science from Télécom Paris and a master's degree from Ecole Polytechnique. Immediately after graduating, she eagerly embarked on her professional journey to apply her acquired knowledge.
In 2019, she completed an internship at SNCF Réseau in Paris, where she revolutionized the workflow of business representatives working on railway plans. By implementing computer vision and deep learning techniques, she automated the detection of signaling symbols from scanned railway technical plans, resulting in significant time savings and improved efficiency. This outstanding project was nominated as the SNCF Team's Project of the Year.
In 2020, she joined Rexel as a Data Scientist and quickly advanced to the position of Senior Data Scientist in 2022. Her primary objective is to develop artificial intelligence solutions that enhance Rexel's business operations. She has successfully contributed to numerous projects and has taken the lead in implementing the Search solution on an international scale. This has involved collaborating with diverse teams from different backgrounds and countries, ensuring a comprehensive and inclusive approach.
