Biography
Ceyla arrived at Rexel 4 years ago as a Data Scientist intern. With her will and her many ideas, she was able to climb the ladder to now hold the position of Lead Data Scientist.
At Rexel, AI is at the heart of the company's data-driven strategy. She works with a cross-functional team made up of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Deployment Leads & Product Owners on mature AI solutions deployed internationally.
She thus coordinates the technical implementation and AI developments on subjects such as stock optimization in the Logistics Centers, the management of Rexel’s branches assortments and, more recently, the prediction of the carbon impact of the electrical products that Rexel distributes. What interests her is the challenge, the diversity of projects and the application of her knowledge.
Passionate about Mathematics, in 2014 she joined the bachelor’s degree in Mathematics applied to Social Sciences in Grenoble where she developed a real attraction for Large Dimension statistics and Time Series analysis. It is naturally that she continued the Master's in Statistics and Data Science by joining the very first class at UGA (University of Grenoble Alpes).
