Biography
Maria-Christina has worked as head of development and international affairs at the Institute of Higher Education for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Mines Paris-PSL engineering school since 2018. She was in charge of international relations, strategic development and partnership management, coordinating an international network of academics and experts. She leads various projects on a national and international level. Since 2021, she led the Red Team Defense project with the french Ministry of Armed Forces – an innovative foresight program composed of science fiction authors and scriptwriters working closely with scientific and military experts. Prior to joining Mines Paris-PSL, Maria-Christina has worked in European affairs and diplomacy, managing projects and partnership development for a European think tank in Paris. She has previously worked as a history and geography professor. Maria-Christina holds two master’s degrees (one on European Studies and one on International Relations and Atlantic World History) as well as a MA in History.
She joined recently Dynergie, a consulting firm on innovation, where she is working as Senior Consultant on innovation & public sector. Maria-Christina also teaches European affairs at ESSEC – Business school.
