Biography
Verity is the Senior Editor for Knowledge at INSEAD, the thought-leadership platform of one of the world’s leading business schools. She works closely with faculty to shape complex research into clear, compelling stories that resonate with a global audience. With a talent for making big ideas feel accessible and relevant, she brings warmth and humanity to the world of academic insight.
Before stepping into this role, Verity was Communications Manager for INSEAD’s Advancement department, where she guided storytelling for fundraising and alumni initiatives. She helped craft narratives that inspired connection, generosity, and shared purpose—work that deepened her belief in the power of well-told stories to create meaningful impact.
Her earlier career in publishing took her through both major house, including Oxford University Press, Hachette Group, and Penguin Random House, and smaller, independent firms. These experiences strengthened her editorial instincts, her adaptability, and her enduring love for the craft of storytelling.
Beyond her professional life, Verity is a devoted writer, sharing personal reflections and creative pieces on her Substack. She is also passionate about championing women in the workplace, especially single parents and those returning to their careers, drawing from her own journey to advocate for flexibility, understanding, and opportunity. When she’s not editing or writing, she can often be found renovating her houseboat, experimenting with new knitting projects, or enjoying time with her two children.
