Biography
Katja Alifanova is a dynamic Project Manager at Konecranes, driving continuous improvement and process enhancement. She currently manages a setup of the project portfolio for a specific product line and supports the development of project management practices.
Katja's diverse career includes roles such as CNC Machine Operator and Warehouse Supervisor, providing her with a comprehensive operational understanding. Her role as a Project Manager in the Product Development Program at Aalto University further sharpened her project management skills. She began her career at Konecranes as a Mechanical Designer Trainee and continued as a Thesis Worker, where she studied the application of Value Stream Mapping in an ETO organization for the process improvement purposes.
Katja holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honours from Aalto University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology from HAMK University of Applied Sciences. She also completed exchange studies at East China University of Technology.
With a systematic approach, strong communication skills, and diverse experience, Katja is an invaluable asset to her team and organization.
