Biography
After graduating with a Master of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (INSA) of Rouen in France, Floriane chose to specialize in the Energy sector and completed a second Master of Science in Oil and Gas Refining at IFP School.
She began her career in 2019 at Axens as a Process Design Engineer, contributing to international projects across the oil and gas industry. She quickly advanced to the role of Technical Proposal Engineer, where she played a key role in the development of Rewind® Mix, Axens’ technology for upgrading pyrolysis oil derived from waste plastics - an innovation reinforcing the industry’s movement toward circularity and more sustainable solutions.
In November 2025, she was honored with the Rising Star Award at a major European refining industry conference, recognizing her as one of the most promising young leaders in the sector.
Following her maternity leave, Floriane decided to challenge herself with a more client oriented role. She recently joined Axens’ commercial team as Sales Manager for Northern and Central Europe.
