Biography
My name is Monika, and I am 47 years old, based in Bratislava, Slovakia. I graduated from the University of Economics in Slovakia and spent some time in the US before returning home to continue my professional career.
I have been working at Lenovo for nearly 20 years and currently serve as a Critical Situation/L1.5 Technical Support Manager. In this role, I lead two teams supporting the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. The L1.5 team provides advanced technical support to our service partners and manages complex issues experienced by key customers. These cases often require deeper technical investigation, root cause analysis, and close coordination with engineering teams to drive permanent solutions. The CritSit team focuses on managing critical situations for large customers facing technical issues in the field. We coordinate rework activities across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and minimal business impact.
Outside of work, I live in Bratislava with my family. I am married and the proud mother of two daughters, aged 15 and 12. I enjoy watching movies, especially Nordic crime dramas and reading detective novels, mainly Scandinavian crime fiction. I have always been fascinated by investigative work and as a child dreamed of becoming a private investigator, which perhaps explains my interest in this genre and the investigative nature of my professional work.
