Biography
Nathalie is a citizen from France and the Seychelles and was raised in the two countries. She is passionate about Europe, the green transition and protecting people and the environment.
She has expertise on EU and international policies on consumer protection, environmental and energy policies.
After working for the private sector and environmental NGOs, she first joined the European Commission as project manager on green energy projects. She moved to Paris to work for the Local Employment and Economic Development programme and then the Environment Performance and Information Division of the OECD before coming back to the European Commission in 2019. She now works as Policy Officer for consumer protection and product safety at DG Justice and Consumers.
She holds two master’s degrees in political sciences as well as public policy analysis and sociology from Sciences Po Paris and a specialised master in environment management from the Free University of Brussels. She also studied history of art at the University of Sussex in Brighton (UK).
She enjoys hiking, rowing, singing and song-writing as well as spending time with her family in the French Auvergne region.
