Biography
Isabelle Coste-Le Personnic is General Counsel & Head of Public Affairs – Europe at JDE Peet’s, where she oversees legal, compliance, public affairs, communications and sustainability across the company’s European operations. She is a member of both the Europe Leadership Team and the Global Legal, Compliance and Corporate Affairs Leadership Team, leading a multidisciplinary team of around 25 professionals.
Since joining JDE Peet’s in 2021, Isabelle has played a key role in strengthening the company’s corporate affairs and regulatory engagement across Europe, while advising the business on complex commercial, regulatory and sustainability matters. She has also led the transformation of the Legal, Compliance and Corporate Affairs function, introducing new operating models, talent development initiatives and efficiency programmes.
Previously, Isabelle held several senior roles at Danone, including Benelux General Counsel, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Officer, as well as Senior Legal Counsel in the group’s M&A team for EMEA. She began her career in private practice at Sullivan & Cromwell, Shearman & Sterling and Cleary Gottlieb in Paris.
Since 2024, Isabelle has also served as President and Board Member of 12oz!, an Italian coffee retail company. She holds degrees in English and French Law from King’s College London and in Business Law from Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and is a qualified French lawyer.
