Biography
Anne Bouverot was recently nominated President Macron's Special Envoy on AI.
An AI specialist, she is also Chairperson of the Board of Technicolor, a world leader in film processing, visual effects and animation services and supplier of set-top boxes and gateways. In addition, she is Co-founder and Chair of Fondation Abeona, focused on Data Science for Fairness & Equality.
Anne previously was Chair and CEO of Morpho, a world leader in security and identity solutions, employing more than 8,600 people in 55 countries and generating revenues of €2bn. Prior to Morpho, she spent 4 years as Director General of GSMA, the international association of mobile network operators.
Previously, she was Executive Vice President, Mobile Services at Orange. She began her career as IT project manager with Telmex in Mexico.
She is a graduate of Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris in Mathematics. She holds a Masters in Telecommunications Engineering and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence.
Anne currently serves as an Independent Board Member for Capgemini, Edenred and Cellnex Telcom. She has received the distinguished awards of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite and Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
