Biography
Blandine Avot graduated from HEC Paris in 2007 with a Master in International Management from the CEMS program that gave her the opportunity to study at University College Dublin for a semester.
She joined France Telecom's (now Orange) Graduate Programme.
For her first rotation, she chose to start in the retail network as store manager. The times were very exciting with the launch of the first iPhone and the grand opening of Orange's flagship store on the Champs Elysées. This hands-on experience taught her sales techniques and gave her practice in team management and customer-facing situations.
From 2009 to 2012, she used this business driven and customer oriented experience as Product Marketing Manager with Orange France operational marketing department. She managed the life cycle of home broadband offers, from conception to pruning.
In June 2012, she moved to London to join the Orange Business Service global B2B marketing team. She was in charge of Competitive Intelligence, contributing to the optimisation of Orange's positioning on the SME segment in Europe and MEA and sharing knowledge internally.
In 2015, she started a new chapter with Solocal in London and discovered the AdTech industry. She strengthened her digital skills as Senior Product Marketing Manager and launched several new programmatic advertising solutions for SMEs.
Since October 2018, she has started a new life in San Francisco. She loves the entrepreneurial energy and open-mindedness of the city that she gets to experience first hand as Product Evangelist
at Dashbot, a startup that offers analytic solutions for chatbots and voice assistants. A very exciting career development in an area that prefigures the evolution of how humans and machines will more seamlessly communicate.
Besides work, she is keen on climbing, yoga, traveling and reading. She also volunteers with Compass Family Services, a local non-profit on a mission to end family homelessness in San Francisco and the Bay Area.
