Biography
Benedicte David has spent her entire career (more than 20 years) at France Telecom, now Orange, contributing to the evolution of the company and participating in one of the greatest market developments in the economic sector. She truly believes that the expansion of the telecommunication sector is only at the beginning, with new revolution to come thanks to the Internet of things.
Since January 2015, Benedicte is the Head of the AMEA Division Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Vice President in charge of Strategy and Customer Experience at Orange. From 2013 to 2015 Mrs. David was the Director of the processing operations and Innovation Division. From 2007 to 2011, Benedicte David was the Marketing Director – Voice Products and AMEA. Benedicte managed several innovation and marketing projects such as the launch of the HD voice (which won an Award at MWC in 2010).
In regards to innovation on the African Continent, Mrs. David started and developed Orange business activity in Africa by creating a delocalized technocentre in Amman (2008) and Abidjan (2010). Previously, Benedicte David held several executive positions within the company in Lille and Paris, including Deputy Regional Director, Director of Quality – Sales and Services, and Controlling Director.
She graduated from the engineering school of Telecom Paris after an academic education in physics at Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris.
