On 30 September 2026, WIL Europe will bring together senior leaders from European institutions, business and academia at the European Parliament in Brussels,  in the heart of Europe, for a high-level dialogue on the role financial education in strengthen resilience, support long-term decision-making and contribute to Europe's competitiveness.

Hosted by MEP Yon-Courtin, the discussion will feature an exceptional line-up of European decision-makers and industry leaders, including EU Commissioner Albuquerque (FISMA), Delphine de Chaisemartin, Deputy CEO of AFG; Pervenche Berès, Chair of Europe-Finances-Régulations, former Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs (ECON), and Corentine Poilvet Clédière, CEO of LCH SA.

As financial decisions become more complex and their consequences more far-reaching, financial literacy is no longer simply a personal advantage — it is becoming a key part of Europe’s economic resilience and competitiveness. This interactive exchange will look beyond the basics of financial education to ask how we can give individuals the confidence and tools to make smarter long-term choices, navigate uncertainty and play a more active role in Europe’s financial future.

The discussion will be followed by a networking session, offering Members, Talents, and Fellows the opportunity to exchange ideas and connect with leaders across sectors.

This event is open to our Members, Talents and Fellows who are based in Brussels, or nearby on that date.
