Biography
Antje Günther advises banks, venture debt funds, real estate funds and borrowers in connection with secured and syndicated senior and mezzanine loan facilities; real estate finance, project finance, acquisition finance; asset-backed securities transactions as well as related regulatory issues. She heads our Banking and Capital Markets practice group.
She focuses on structured finance and secured lending transactions, in particular on the (debt capital markets) financing of renewable energies projects, as well as in debt-based start-up/growth financing (venture debt).
Matters she advised on include several capital markets financings of onshore wind farm portfolios arranged by UniCredit Bank AG, an European Investment Bank (EIB) financing supporting Oxford PV Germany GmbH on the transfer of its disruptive perovskite on silicon tandem solar cell technology from lab scale to commercialisation, and a series of growth financing transactions arranged by a US bank for companies with innovative digital business models.
Among her clients are German Landesbanken and German subsidiaries and branches of US and European banks. As an associate she was seconded to Enron Europe Limited in London and to the Chicago banking and finance practice of her former law firm.
