Biography
Meghna has a STEM degree and started her Sales career 20 years ago in a small UK indigenous IT Manufacturing company. In the 10 years there, she gained a lot of experience from order processing to selling, customer service and team management.
Her career at Lenovo since 2012 started as an ISR managing different verticals in the Public Sector team. 3 years ago she made the leap into management, one that felt very natural to her. She’d reached a point where she could contribute more to Lenovo’s objectives by supporting individual contributors and motivating them to achieve or exceed sales goals, than by being an individual contributor herself.
All the experience she’d gained at Lenovo over the past eight years, having done the role herself, has put her in a good position to excel in this role. She can use that experience to help her team develop and come up with new ways to solve problems.
Lenovo is a very good cultural fit for her. The culture is built on collaboration and engagement, and they’re encouraged to behave like they’re a company of owners, with customer experience at the forefront of our minds. Lenovo was very similar to her previous company but a global vendor.
