Biography
Marielle de Spa is a senior leadership advisor with a professional expertise in Foresight strategy, Non-executive director and Advisory boards for growth companies. More than 20 years of global leadership consulting and Executive Search at global firms Heidrick & Struggles and Spencer Stuart, a cross-cultural upbringing and serial international transitions have provided her with a comprehensive view on global careers and international leadership strategies.
Marielle is the founder and managing director of TCKapital, a Board Advisory and Leadership foresight consultancy. At Aikon Partners and TalentQuest Capital, Marielle is an executive search Partner focusing on their regional expansion in Southern Europe and LATAM.
She also a Board Advisor to VC funds, growth companies, start-ups and senior leadership across the Americas and Europe. Marielle sits on the advisory board of Amplifica Capital, a pioneer Female-First VC fund in Latin America, and acts as a strategic advisor to Troquer, a pre-owned fashion platform and Kaatch, a talent acquisition start-up. Previously Marielle advised Utelias, a branding studio and Transcendalia, an AI HR-tech start-up.
She is an executive board member of Mujeres Avenir, and an active member of WIL (Women in Leadership Europe) both Women professional advancement non-profits in Europe. Marielle is also a mentor at Playbook, a women’s professional education platform.
An International Relations & Foreign Policy B.A. graduate from Tufts University, Marielle is a certified Foresight Strategist from the Institute for the Future (IFTF) in Palo Alto, California. She holds executive certifications for International & Cross-Cultural negotiation from ESSEC and Private Equity/Venture Capital from SDA Bocconi.
She is also a Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and Master Valuer Jewelry Appraiser from CIFJT.
Marielle currently resides in Madrid.
