Mireia Brunet Villarejo
Events and Communications Intern

Mireia is a Master's student in International Security at Sciences Po, specialising in Gender Studies and European Affairs. She joined WIL Europe in September 2026 for a five-month internship. She has experience in the public and non-profit sectors, supporting project management, communications, event organisation, advocacy and research at the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) in Barcelona, the World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) in Brussels, and Tarragona City Hall. She speaks English, French, Catalan, Spanish and Italian, and has also published research on gender. Mireia is passionate about advancing gender equality, democracy and youth empowerment, and contributes to these areas as a Young European Ambassador for the European Union (EU) and European Affairs Coordinator for the International Youth Council on Gender Equality (IYCGE).
