On 4 September 2026, WIL Europe welcomed WIL Member Valerie Beaulieu-James, Chief Growth & Innovation Officer at ManpowerGroup, for a Leadership Dialogues session on “What’s Next in the Future of Work.” Moderated by WIL Vice President Nathalie Wright, the discussion explored how AI and evolving technologies are transforming jobs, skills and the way work is delivered.

Valerie shared insights on how organisations, leaders and individuals can prepare for job transformation, embrace AI while keeping humans in the lead, and develop the skills needed to navigate the future of work. The discussion also explored the potential impact of AI on women in the workforce and the skills young professionals will need beyond technical expertise.

Valerie highlighted changing hiring trends and emphasised that, although some tasks will be automated, human judgement, creativity and care remain essential. Leaders, she stressed, should ensure that AI serves as a tool to enhance human capabilities rather than replace them.
