    On 4th April 2023, WIL Fellow Christelle Cuenin, Career Development and Public Speaking Coach, kicked off the first workshop of the 8th edition of the Women Talent Pool (WTP) with a much anticipated 90-minute workshop on Public Speaking for Leadership. During this workshop, Talents received precious tips and tools from Christelle to help them use public speaking as a tool to progress in their careers and were also able to practice their skills during exchanges in breakout rooms.

    On the 15th of March, WIL Europe launched the 8th edition of the Women Talent Pool (WTP) leadership programme and closed the 7th edition, with a special online Kick Off/Closing Ceremony for our 57 new Talents and 48 outgoing Talents. At the event the Talents had the chance to hear from 7th and 8th edition patrons, Pervenche Berès and Cristiana Falcone, exchange with them in breakout groups, and get to know each other in a networking session.

    For the eleventh and final workshop of the 7th Women Talent Pool (WTP) programme, our Talents gathered for an online session with WIL Board Member Marina Niforos, Adjunct Professor at HEC Business School in Paris. During the workshop, the second of a two-part module that began in Brussels in March 2022, the Talents had the chance to reflect on their individual leadership journeys since joining the programme.

    For the tenth workshop of the 7th Women Talent Pool (WTP), WIL Members Bożena Leśniewska, Executive Vice President Business Market at Orange Polska, and Charlotte West, Executive Director Global Corporate Communications at Lenovo; and WIL Fellow Céline Wehrle, Director, National Lead Advisory, Global Employer Services, at Deloitte, shared with Talents their areas of expertise and explained how each area would help them better lead with impact.

    For the ninth workshop of the 7th Women Talent Pool (WTP), WIL Secretary General Pinuccia Contino, Head of the Unit Product Safety and Rapid Alert System at the European Commission and Ambassador of Applied Compassion, offered our Talents a second enlightening session on how to lead with wholeness and purpose, this time focusing on compassion.

    For the fifth workshop of the 7th edition of the WTP Programme, former WIL Talent and Managing Director Sales for Financial and Insurance Industries at Pegasystems, Myriam El Ouni drew on her impressive professional experience to explore how leaders effectively communicate and manage relationships in this new virtual-hybrid working environment and invited Talents to discuss how their current working model works for them.

    On 21st June 2022, WIL held a virtual Summer Networking  event for our Talents on the Women Talent Pool (WTP) leadership programme. It was an opportunity to bring the participants together to connect, share experiences, expand their network and build solidarity with other women across Europe.

    During the session, attendees were invited to discuss their most inspiring or memorable take away of the WTP so far, the best ways to build strong interpersonal connections and also what being part of a female network has meant to them.
